Use this calendar to help you decide when to visit Pregnancy Treasures.
The following dates only apply to the best time to do your 3D/4D ultrasound.
Early gender determination is available as early as
16 weeks.
Week 20 - 22: Sneak a Peek Viewing
Typically you can see full body shots while the baby is still small (18-21 weeks). This is a vast improvement from 2D images. However, in these early stages your images may not be as full or vivid as in later stages. You can often find out if it is a baby boy or a baby girl if the baby is positioned in a way we can see "the parts". A diagnostic ultrasound has already been performed by your health care provider prior to visiting us.
Week 23 - 32: Best Viewing
This is the ideal time to make an appointment. During this time and you may see amazing activities such as him playing with his feet or her giving a big yawn after a quick nap. Often times you can even catch your baby looking right back at you! We love the 26-28 week time frame.
Week 33 - 34: Good Viewing
Want another peek? There is still fairly good movement during the 29-32 week period. If you have already had a 3D 4D Sonogram at 26-28 weeks or if this is your first time, this is your second best opportunity to make an appointment. The sooner the better... so please don't delay!
Week 35 - 37: Unpredictable Viewing
After 34 weeks, it becomes more difficult to get a good view due to the limited movement of the baby. The less space the less opportunity to get good photos. It is possible to achieve a successful scan up to 37 weeks but we hope to see you sooner.
